Yoga for Cancer Survivors

All Cancer Survivors Receive FREE Yoga during our Monday morning class from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (at the studio.)

Cancer patients participating in regular yoga classes reported a decrease in stress and pain. They also felt an increase in their well‑being. Yoga can help restore strength, range of motion, and improve lymphatic flow. Yoga can enhance energy, digestion, joint health, circulation, and respiration function. Yoga is a great way to live more comfortably in your body when you have been diagnosed with cancer. Being a breast cancer survivor, I can honestly share with you the benefits I received from yoga. The breathing helped deal with the anxiety of going through my treatments. Teaching and practicing yoga helped me focus on healing my-self from within.

Yoga has the unique ability to alter not only one's physical state, but also has a calming and serene effect on the mind. Alternative therapies have proven to be extremely successful in the healing process as well as palliative care.
